About this work
A parade ends in a Pennsylvania town, and the last figures fade from view. End of the Parade, Coatesville, Pa - 1920 uses flat shapes of sky, brick and soft green to hold that moment still. The picture stays quiet, with long spaces between the buildings and a road that leads off the sheet.
This fine art print comes with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. The white frame leaves a clean line around the soft greens and brick reds, and the black frame pulls out the road line and makes the town blocks stand apart from the wall.
The print fits a hallway near the front door, where you pass it each morning and notice the plain buildings first, then the thin road marks on the left side.
