Entym

Karl Otto Gotz painted Entym with fast brushstrokes that bend and cross over the surface. The marks leave a rough edge in each stroke, and the paint sits unevenly where the brush lifted.

Op art movement practice shows in the way the lines shift as you look. A light frame on a dark wall keeps the busy marks clear.

Fine art paper holds the colour without a shine under a lamp. Hang it on the landing wall beside the stairs, and from the bottom step you notice the crossing strokes before the frame.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
