Escher (6) — Fine Art

The page shows a line drawing by MC Escher where shapes lock into one another and turn back on the same path. Escher (6) follows the artist habit of drawing forms that hold together without empty space.

The fine art print uses a light frame to separate the black lines from the paper tone. A dark frame would push the drawing back, while a wood frame brings the sheet near timber furniture. The paper holds the ink without a gloss that would wash out the thin lines.

On a study room wall at shoulder height, the eye follows each turn and stops at the point where a shape meets the next. From the desk you see the full loop, and from the doorway the pattern reads as a single measured field.
