Escher (8) — Fine Art

Escher (8) runs a sequence of forms across the sheet, each shape leading into the next. The eye moves along the line of marks before it settles on the empty ground at the edge.

Black ink builds the outline and the pale sheet holds the rest. MC Escher worked with measured drawing methods and a steady graphic print practice.

The fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel, and the ready to hang option brings the whole thing assembled to your door. You notice the repeating line work first on a bedroom wall near the headboard, where the print sits above a narrow desk and the black lines read clearly against the pale ground.
