Etude — Fine Art

A study of a rural stretch in Auvers runs across the sheet with calm fields and a distant tree line built from separate blocks of colour. Etude - Paysage a Auvers sits within the wider body of Paul Cézanne, where the landscape is treated as a set of planes rather than a single view.

This fine art print comes set in a frame with a back panel. The frame rounds the painted edges without changing the colour balance of the fields. The back panel keeps the sheet flat and ready to hang when assembled.

It fits on a wall near the foot of the stairs, where the doorway light falls across the lower fields. From that spot the separate colour blocks hold their own, and the tree line reads as a quiet edge at the end of the day.
