Eve — Fine Art

A broad band of pale colour fills most of the sheet. A narrower vertical mark reaches from the top edge to the bottom. The two sections read as separate but hold together. Eve by Barnett Newman keeps the layout plain and still. The eye enters on the lighter band first.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The black frame gives Eve a steady line around the image. That line sets the paper off from the wall and makes the pale field read as a single shape. The four frame finishes are white, wood, dark wood and black.
