Event in Blue — Fine Art

Event in Blue - 1994 by Leon Polk Smith uses hard edge colour planes set against a subtle ground. The field pulls together blue tones in a quiet arrangement. Known for clean geometric abstraction, the artist built forms that hold their own space on the sheet.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fixed to the back. You can put it straight onto a nail or screw without a separate frame. The matte surface keeps the blue tones soft under lamp light.

In a bedroom, the blue field reads softly from the foot of the bed. Morning light comes in low across the bottom edge. The hard edge lines stay clear without pulling focus.
