Farbraumk Rper 1982 — Fine Art

Farbraumk Rper 1982 by Gotthard Graubner uses layers of colour that build up on the sheet.

Thin bands of paint sit beside each other and shift in tone from one edge to the next. The marks feel worked and repeated, as if the surface was built in stages.

A fine art print keeps those colour layers clear and the paper stays matte so the tones read without shine. On a hallway wall, the bands pull the eye along the passage and the frame finish can match the wood trim nearby.
