Floating Forms by Laszlo Moholy-Nagy — Fine Art

Floating Forms sets clear shapes against a muted background. A darker tone sits beside a lighter one. The contrast keeps each shape separate. Laszlo Moholy-Nagy arranged the forms so the eye moves across the sheet. The composition stays open and reads as a study of colour and tone.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The white frame gives the picture a firm edge on the wall. The clean edge keeps the darker shapes from blending into the room. A black frame would make the lighter tone stand out more. A wood finish would warm the view.

It works on a kitchen wall. From the sink you see the clear shapes first. Closer you notice the flat colour and the lack of detail. The image holds its place above the counter without asking for attention.
