Flowers 1 — Fine Art

Flowers 1 by Odilon Redon shows a small group of blooms drawn with loose lines and soft patches of pastel. The petals stay open and the stems bend a little. Odilon Redon worked in symbolist painting, a late nineteenth century practice that favors quiet subjects over plain scenes.
