Flowers No. 1 — Fine Art

Acrylic colour bands run side by side across the sheet in Flowers No. 1 - 1975, a work that sits within the colour field painting practice of Gebre Kristos Desta. The flat blocks of pigment stay separate, each one a different tone with hard edges.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. A metal hanger is fitted to the back, so the sheet goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need to buy a separate frame. The matte surface keeps the colour bands flat and the light does not bounce on the sheet.
