Fog Light — Fine Art

Fog Light shows thin washes of colour laid across the surface by Sam Gilliam. The bright tones fade into soft grey at the edges, and the marks feel loose under the hand. The work belongs to the colour field painting practice.

This item is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. You receive the piece assembled when the ready to hang option is used. The matte paper holds the washed tones without shine under a lamp, so the foggy look stays even.

It fits well on a narrow stair landing wall. From the bottom step you see the broad colour band, and from the landing you notice the faint lines where one wash meets the next.
