Forethought 1943 by Rene Magritte — Fine Art

Forethought 1943 by Rene Magritte turns a familiar idea into a painted scene. The picture keeps a plain ground so the main forms sit clear.

Grey tones sit against a darker band and the edges stay hard. The painted look stays flat and the marks stay careful.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The matte face keeps the grey tones even under room light. You can see it on a dining table wall, and from the doorway the plain ground reads first, up close the hard edges come through.
