Forgery

Forgery - 2008 by Brice Marden shows a steady hand drawn line moving across the sheet. The line carries pressure at the ends and lightens in the middle. The mark sits on a plain ground without extra colour.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame gives the line a clean edge. A black frame makes the drawn stroke read sharp against the paper.

It works on a study wall near a desk lamp. You see the pencil pressure from the chair. The line holds its shape day to day.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
