Genter Serie — Fine Art

The Genter Serie - 1998 by Gunther Forg shows a painted field with blocks of colour set against a lighter ground. The eye moves from one block to the next across the sheet. Empty space between the blocks keeps the composition open.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A black frame gives the painted blocks a sharp line at the edge of the sheet. The white frame keeps the lighter ground from feeling heavy.

In a study, the picture hangs on the wall beside a desk. From the chair you notice the blocks of colour first, then the space between them. The frame edge stays clear against the painted field. The room feels steady with the work on the wall.
