Goldfish 1916

Goldfish 1916 by Henri Matisse shows a rounded fish shape moving through a flat field of warm colour. The eye enters at the centre and rests on the curve of the body. Empty space around the shape keeps the image calm. A thin line marks the edge of the tail.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. Choose a frame finish from white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall.

In a reading corner above a low bookcase the fish shape reads first, then the flat colour fills the rest. From a chair across the room you see the outline, closer you notice the thin line at the tail.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
