Graue Scheibe 1970 by Blinky Palermo — Fine Art

Graue Scheibe 1970 by Blinky Palermo shows a flat grey disc shape on a plain ground. The work sits in the material painting practice of the late twentieth century. Thin painted rings run around the centre, with the tone shifting from one side to the other.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy.

In a reading corner the grey disc reads as a calm shape near a bookshelf. You see the slight tone shift across the ring when you turn the page of a book nearby. The room stays quiet and the picture does not call attention to itself.
