Gray Big Sur

Gray Big Sur by Eyvind Earle gives you a coastal stretch under a muted sky. The brushwork moves in slow sweeps across the paper. Each stroke lays down a thin band of grey that sits beside the next one. The marks sit close together and leave a quiet surface.

The fine art frame in white wood gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. That white border sits apart from the grey washes and keeps the eye on the water line. You notice the line weight before you notice the frame.

Above a desk near a window the grey bands read clearly from a few feet away. The light shifts the tones as the day goes on. You see the slow brush passes and the plain hill shapes holding the coast together.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
