Green Mandala

Green Mandala - 1969 places a round green shape in the middle of the sheet. Lighter green rings move outward, and the outside stays open.

The eye lands on the centre and then moves to the soft outer band. Clarence Holbrook Carter worked with clear forms and simple colour blocks in his painting practice.

This comes as a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the green tones flat and stops a shine under a lamp. It suits the dining room wall near the sideboard, where the round shape reads at an easy distance and the pale border settles the room.
