Häuser Im Schwarzwald — Poster

Nestled among rolling hills, a cluster of quaint houses anchors the composition in Johannes Itten's Häuser Im Schwarzwald. The artwork presents a charming scene of rural life, rendered with a simplicity that belies its depth. The houses, painted in earthy tones of ochre and umber, stand out against the lush greens of the surrounding landscape. Itten's use of bold outlines and flat colors gives the scene a sense of naivety, while the careful placement of each element creates a harmonious balance. The sky above is a pale blue, providing a calm backdrop to the bustling activity below. This poster brings a touch of rustic charm to any setting, whether it's a cozy kitchen or a lively dining room.
