Hitchhiker — Fine Art

Hitchhiker - Speed of Light by James Rosenquist uses broad painted bands and sharp cut edges. The composition carries a fast moving feel, built from flat colour planes that read like billboard fragments. These shapes sit on a plain ground and move across the sheet.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. Each finish gives the image a clean border. A white frame keeps the painted planes open at the edge. A black frame separates the band shapes from the wall.

In a hallway the broad horizontal bands read first. You notice the cut marks and the colour shifts before you reach the picture. The picture works where people pass by often and see the big forms.
