House behind Trees on the Road to Tholonet

House behind Trees on the Road to Tholonet shows a building partly hidden by tree trunks along a country road.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The scene uses separate patches of paint to build the tree mass and the house. Paul Cezanne worked in this post impressionist style.

The white frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. The white strip sits flat against the painted ground so the eye rests on the house block without a heavy border.
