About this work

Icon

The Icon - 1964 print shows a single standing figure set against a plain ground. Adolph Gottlieb made this kind of work within his broader abstract figure practice. The shape leans toward the centre and the field around it stays open.

This fine art print arrives in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper holds the flat tones without a shine, so the figure stays clear against the ground.

It fits above a kitchen table where the warm light from a pendant lamp falls across the figure. The plain back panel keeps the print steady on that wall.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.
Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
