III Notes From Salalah Note I rests on a light ground with loose graphite and wax lines. The marks wander across the sheet like quick notes. You can trace the soft pencil strokes and the darker wax bits one by one. The picture sits in the late graphic practice of Cy Twombly, where writing and drawing share the same page.
