Ile de France Landscape — Fine Art

Ile de France Landscape reads as a rolling stretch of fields and trees built from separate blocks of paint. The tones lean toward green, ochre and grey.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. You can see the method in each patch of colour. The work sits on the wall with a clean edge from the frame. White gives the picture room, wood keeps it warm, dark wood adds weight and black gives a sharp line.

The border holds the land shapes without pulling the eye away. It fits a hallway wall beside a narrow shelf. From the doorway the broad patches of green and earth read as one calm field, while a step nearer shows the short separate strokes.
