About this work
The print In Croce III - 1969 belongs to the Italian abstract painting of the 1960s. Piero Dorazio worked with thin lines and soft overlaps, usually in pale greys and reds on a light ground. The picture shows those crossings across the sheet, with the bands growing fainter toward the edge.
This fine art print ships ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte surface keeps the grey lines soft and holds the red notes without shine under a lamp.
In a narrow study, the thin lines run across the top of a desk. From the chair you see the pale bands and the small red marks, and the room feels steady.
