In the Park of the Chateau Noir — Fine Art

In the Park of the Chateau Noir shows a path winding through trees and foliage. Short brushstrokes build the green leaves and dark trunks into a solid ground. The picture belongs to the late landscapes Paul Cézanne worked on around the south of France.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The white frame gives the image a clean edge on the wall. That pale border separates the dark greens from the room around it. You see the paint patches more clearly against the simple frame edge.

Above a kitchen shelf the path leads your eye toward the back of the picture. The green tones stay steady in morning light. From the doorway the frame edge holds the scene in place.
