Interieur à la spirale — Fine Art

Interieur a la spirale - 1949 shows a central spiral shape set against a layered ground of muted tones. Pale greys and soft ochres sit near each other, and the lines cross in a loose grid that recalls an interior space. Maria Helena Vieira da Silva built these spaces from repeated bands and shifting planes.

This fine art print keeps the quiet balance of the tones because the paper holds them without shine. A white frame puts a clean line around the whole image, so the spiral reads as a separate shape on your wall.

On a staircase wall you see the big colour bands first. Near the landing you notice the small pencil lines between them.
