Irises — Fine Art

Irises shows a cluster of purple and blue flowers rising from a bed of green leaves. Tall stems stand close together, and the paint marks stay soft around the petals. The eye moves along the stems before it reaches the top blooms. A light colour sits at the centre of each flower.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The paper has a matte surface, so the blues hold their depth without a shine. A light frame on a dark wall lets the flower shapes stand out. A dark frame on a pale wall keeps the lower leaves in view.

It reads well on the wall beside a tall bookcase. You notice the stems first from the doorway, then the small paint strokes when you stand nearer.
