Jourdans Cottage — Fine Art

Jourdans Cottage shows a small house set into patches of earth and sky. The cottage forms a solid block at the centre, and the surrounding field is built from separate marks that leave open ground around it. The eye rests on the house then drifts into the empty patches beside it.

This fine art print sits inside a frame with a clear edge on the wall. A white frame keeps the border clean against the soft ground, while a dark wood frame gives the heavy cottage block a darker line to hold against.

On a landing wall near the stairs, the house stands out when you pass by on the way to the bedroom. From the bottom step the cottage reads as one quiet mass, and the open field around it stays soft until you stop.
