Komposition — Fine Art

Komposition - 1919 by Johannes Itten uses blocks of bright colour laid in a clear arrangement. The shapes step across the sheet and leave open space between them. Read the layout from the top left corner downward. The eye follows each colour band until it rests in the empty part.

The print arrives in fine art paper and hangs right away. A metal hanger is fitted to the back and goes on a nail or screw. Put it up and do not add a frame.

It works on the wall beside a kitchen table where morning light falls across the surface. The colour bands stay clear and the bare paper keeps the layout open.
