La Villa Bleue 1918

La Villa Bleue 1918 shows a blue house shape set on a quiet ground. A few thick strokes set the roof and the walls apart. The blue stays flat on the paper and the edges stay soft.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. You can see where the brush pressed harder at the corners. A metal hanger is fitted to the back and goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed.

The matte surface keeps the blue from shining under a lamp. It works above a console table against a pale wall. From across the room the house shape reads as one block of blue. Up close the soft edges and the pressure at the corners come into view.
