Landscape — Fine Art

Landscape by Hans Hofmann puts a broken field of colour against a softer ground. Broad strokes and sharp edges meet across the sheet. The eye follows one heavy band to the next until it stops on a quiet gap.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel and arrives ready to hang. The glossy surface keeps the warm reds and cool blues separate, so the hard edges do not blur when the light hits them. You see the paint like marks clearly on the sheet.

It fits on a narrow wall in a stairwell where the light comes low. From the landing you catch the bright band first and the dark mark second. On the step below the colours settle into a calm field with one sharp cut through the middle.
