Landscape with Waterline — Fine Art

Landscape with Waterline places a horizontal band across the view. Paul Cézanne built the surface with small separate strokes. The paint sits in layers that break the plane into blocks of tone. The line holds the land and the water apart.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang. A metal hanger is fitted to the back and goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need to buy a separate frame. The matte paper keeps the flat colours from shining under a lamp.

It fits a kitchen wall above the sink. Daylight from the window falls on the horizontal line and the separate strokes show their edges. You see the layers of paint while you stand at the counter making tea.
