Leda and the Swan

Leda and the Swan covers the sheet with a pale ground and quick marks from the practiced hand of Cy Twombly. Broad pencil strokes and smears of paint sit side by side, leaving the picture open and unfinished looking. A swan shape hints at the edge without being drawn full.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel, ready to hang when you choose the assembled option. The matte paper keeps the pale ground flat and the pencil lines stay soft under a lamp.

It works above a low desk near a window where the daylight hits the surface at an angle. From the chair you read the swan hint and the loose lines, and from the doorway you see the pale field first.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
