Leonid Afremov by Leonid Afremov — Fine Art

Leonid Afremov shows a street scene with thick paint and bright colour. The palette mixes warm reds, yellows and blues across the picture. Short knife strokes lift the paint off the surface so each mark holds its own shape. The work belongs to the late twentieth century painting practice.

The fine art print sits inside a clear frame edge. Choose white, wood, dark wood or black to match the wall. The frame finish changes how the painted street meets the room without changing the image.

On a kitchen wall the painted lights sit above the sink. You notice the thick paint marks as you wash the plates. The printed colours stay steady under the ceiling light over the morning.
