Leonid Afremov by Leonid Afremov — Fine Art

Leonid Afremov paints a rain slicked street with bright shop windows and a glowing sign. The paint is layered thick in loose strokes, so the colours stand apart from one another. You can read the street from across the room, then move in to see the knife marks on the paper.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. The paper is smooth enough that the bright window squares stay clear without a separate frame.

It suits a dining room wall above the sideboard. From the table you notice the deep blue sky and the warm shop lights, and the traffic lines lead your eye down the street.
