Libusa — Fine Art

Libusa - 1995 shows broad painted strokes across the sheet. The paint spreads in uneven patches of warm and cool tone.

Emil Schumacher worked with thick gestural marks that push across the support. The paper holds the paint without a glossy finish. A metal hanger sits on the back and the print goes straight onto a nail.

The fine art print keeps the stroke texture clear. It suits a hallway landing where you pass it daily. From the stair you see the big colour shapes, and near the railing you notice the rough paint edges.
