Little Big Sur — Fine Art

Little Big Sur shows a long stretch of coast with thin tree trunks standing on a ridge. Eyvind Earle paints the land in wide bands of tone, and the water holds a flat blue line near the bottom. The marks run slow and even, with hard edges where one band meets the next.
