Long Distance From the Portfolio Revolving Doors 1926 by Man Ray — Fine Art

Long Distance From the Portfolio Revolving Doors 1926 starts at the lower edge and moves upward through a narrow opening. The eye catches a dark doorway shape first, then rests on the pale field beside it. Man Ray keeps the rest of the space open.

This fine art print uses a matte finish so the soft tones do not shine back under a ceiling light. A dark frame against a pale wall makes the doorway shape stand apart from the room.

It fits a narrow hallway wall beside the coat rack. From the kitchen doorway you notice the dark cutout and the quiet area around it.
