Low White Sun Box

Low White Sun Box - 1965 opens on a pale ground with a few broken marks and a stand of light near the centre.

Theodoros Stamos built his abstract work around restrained colour and a quiet surface, and that plain feeling carries into this sheet.

The fine art paper holds the thin tones without a shine, so the white areas read as paper rather than gloss. It fits a hall wall where the ceiling light reaches the sheet and the darker frame keeps the edge steady.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
