Lunar Web 1951 — Fine Art

Lunar Web 1951 shows a web of thin lines crossing the page. The lines bend and cross each other in a loose grid. Some crossings are darker than the rest. The look is spare and follows the print practice Lyonel Feininger used in his late work.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. A matte sheet keeps the greys level and stops a glare under a lamp.

Hang it in a narrow stairwell where the light comes from above. From the bottom step you see the crossings as a set of small dark knots. The frame settles the lines so the web reads clean.
