Lust for life — Fine Art

The title Lust for life points to a restless energy. A few dark marks work against a brighter field, and the uneven patches of paint give the picture a rough feel. Max Ernst worked with this kind of painted surface, where the brush does not smooth things out.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte finish keeps the small paint marks clear and holds the tones without a shine.

In a hallway with a narrow strip of daylight, the brighter patches read first when you pass by, and the darker marks sit more quietly on the wall behind a coat hook.
