Magnet, 1992

Magnet, 1992- shows a band of colour laid across an open field, with a slower wet edge on one side and a sharper pull on the other. The paint sits in a thin layer, so the ground shows through in places.

The fine art print uses a matte surface, which keeps the colour from catching a glare under a lamp and lets the wet edge read as a soft change rather than a hard line.

It hangs on the pale wall in the bedroom, about chest high near the wardrobe. From the bed you see the colour band first, then the lighter paper tone around it.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
