Meadows — Fine Art

Meadows by Childe Hassam turns a green slope into bands of colour. The field moves from dark greens near the bottom to a soft yellow band above it. A thin strip of blue sky holds the top edge and keeps the whole scene open.

A fine art print set in a frame with a back panel keeps those soft green tones flat and even. The matte finish stops the yellow from shining, so the painted marks stay loose and visible without glare.

In the dining room, you see the broad green bands from the doorway. Up close, the short dark strokes along the lower edge show how the field was built.
