Midday Barren - 1983 presents a landscape of open ground under a bright sky. The colour sits in wide layers with forms that step back from the edge. Neil Welliver often worked in this way, building land from repeated passes of paint.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte paper keeps the layered tones even when the light changes.

It fits a hallway wall where the light stays steady. From the stair you see the broad colour bands, and near the picture you notice the small shifts in tone. Neil Welliver built this kind of landscape from careful passes of paint.
