Min-Oe — Fine Art

Min-Oe by Cy Twombly shows a pale sheet with loose handwriting and a few dark lines. The marks seem to move across the surface without a fixed plan. The writing sits between drawing and notation.

The picture arrives as a fine art print with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame keeps the edges clean against the pale ground. A dark wood frame gives the lines a firmer stop.

It fits above a low desk where you stand close. From that distance the small pencil marks come into view. From farther back the writing reads as a group of quick gestures.
