Monets Garden — Fine Art

Monets Garden - 1980 shows a row of painted colour bands crossing the sheet in one direction. The bands step through several tones, some warm and some cool, in even widths. Each stripe runs the full length of the sheet with a hard edge on both sides.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame keeps the edge soft against the bands. A black frame gives the picture a firm outline on the wall.

This print sits in a corridor with pale paint and a narrow light above the door. From the corner you notice the bands in sequence, then the frame edge near the ceiling.
