Montmartre Path with Sunflowers — Fine Art

The path rises through tall sunflowers in yellow and green. Short paint strokes build the leaves and the thick stems. Vincent van Gogh worked the ground with quick marks that push the view forward.

A fine art print sits inside a frame with a back panel. The paper stays matte so the yellow paint does not shine under a lamp. You notice the short strokes more when the room is quiet.

On a narrow stairwell wall the flowers read as a bright band. From the landing you take in the whole path. Up close the paint marks sit in loose rows.
