Mountains at Saint-Remy with Dark Cottage — Fine Art

Mountains at Saint-Remy with Dark Cottage uses heavy paint laid on in short, forceful strokes. The hill shapes press forward while the cottage sits low in the middle distance. Thick ridges of paint break up the sky and the ground.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need a separate frame. The matte paper keeps the paint ridges from shining under a lamp.

It works on a stairwell wall where the steps meet the landing. From the first tread you see the dark cottage and the ridge of the hill. On the wall beside the newel post the paint strokes read as small ridges.
